Warranty & Installation
Warranty coverage, exclusions, installation guidance, and support expectations for Nairobi Office Hub products.

Who Provides the Warranty
Nairobi Office Hub is a retailer, not a manufacturer. Warranty on the furniture we sell is provided by the manufacturer, and we administer the claim on your behalf. We do not invent our own cover, and we do not claim longer terms than the maker actually offers.
Standard Cover
Unless a product page states otherwise, items carry a minimum of 12 months against manufacturing and material defects arising in normal office use. Some ranges carry longer cover on specific components — where that is the case, the term is stated on the product page and on your invoice.
What Is Covered
- Structural failure of frames, bases and welds
- Failure of gas lifts, tilt mechanisms, castors and other moving chair components
- Delamination, splitting or warping of desk tops caused by a manufacturing fault
- Faulty drawer runners, locks and hinges on storage units
- Upholstery seam failure that is not the result of damage or misuse
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear: fabric pilling, cushion softening, surface marks and scuffs from everyday use
- Loading beyond the stated capacity of a chair, shelf, drawer or table
- Damage from misuse, accidents, dragging furniture across floors, or moving it between premises
- Damage from water, direct prolonged sunlight, or storage in unsuitable conditions
- Furniture modified, repaired or reassembled by someone other than our team
- Items sold as clearance, ex-display or "as is", where the condition was disclosed at purchase
Making a Claim
Contact us with your order number, a description of the fault and clear photographs. We will assess it and, where the claim is valid, repair the item, replace the faulty component, or replace the item — in that order of preference, and at no cost to you within Nairobi.
Bring the item to the showroom or ask us to collect it. Claims are handled during normal showroom hours.
Assembly and Care
- Assemble on a flat, level surface, following the manual supplied with the item.
- Tighten fasteners evenly and do not over-tighten into board materials.
- Re-check bolts and screws after the first week, then every few months.
- Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners on laminates, veneers and mesh.
- Do not sit or stand on desk tops, drawer fronts or the arms of chairs.
Following these steps is also what keeps the warranty intact.
Professional Assembly
We recommend our own assembly for workstation clusters, executive desks and boardroom tables. It is quoted separately and confirmed before dispatch. Furniture assembled by our team and found to be incorrectly assembled will be put right at our cost.
